COVID-19 Update

After intense discussions of the topic of COVID-19 and consideration of possible options, the International Organizing Committee of XTOP decided to postpone the conference from 2020 to 2022. The arguments for the postponement include but are not limited to possible strong restrictions for travels in many countries, a fear of participants to travel, a ban of travels to conferences in universities, etc. To give everyone the possibility to take part in the event and to exchange new and valuable scientific ideas, we decided to have XTOP-2022 on 11th-16th of September 2022.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Minsk in September 2022.

XTOP 2022

XTOP 2022 – the 15th Biennial Conference on High-Resolution X-Ray Diffraction and Imaging – will take place in Minsk, Belarus, from 11th to 16th of September 2022. The first day of the conference will traditionally be devoted to the companion school with tutorial lectures, aimed (not only) to students. During the next 4 days of the conference, a number of invited and contributed talks, as well as posters will be presented.

XTOP is focused on various aspects of X-ray research, covering such fields as X-ray diffractometry, reflectometry, small angle X-ray scattering, stress and strain analysis, and different imaging techniques. The conference provides a scientific platform for researchers and engineers that helps to discover new developments in X-ray instrumentation, measurement techniques, analysis, and applications. Special attention is paid to the presentation of such up-to-date research area as experiments at synchrotrons and XFELs. Besides, XTOP demonstrates introduction of state-of-the-art approaches to analysis like artificial intelligence to solve the most challenging problems. For this purpose, the conference gathers outstanding experts worldwide for giving presentations.

XTOP provides an ideal place where all researchers, interested both in theoretical advances and various applications, can discuss recent innovations and exchange their ideas and experience.
